Biography

Mina Đukić (b. 1982, Sombor, Yugoslavia) is a director and producer whose filmography includes several short documentaries and features. The short doc Rat File (2006) was awarded at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Belgrade. Another short doc Yugo, A Short Autobiography (2011) toured the documentary festival circuit (incl. Toronto's Hot Docs). In 2008 she founded Kiselo Dete productions together with Nikola Ležaić and Uroš Tomić. The first film they created was Tilva Roš (2010), directed by Ležaić. Her feature debut The Disobedient (2014) was screened in its world premiere at Sundance; European audiences were given an opportunity to see it for the first time when it screened in competition at the Rotterdam IFF.
