Biography
John Trengove is a Johannesburg-based writer/director and NYU alumni. His career spans film, fringe theatre, television, commercials, and experimental video. In 2010, his acclaimed miniseries Hopeville received the Rose d'Or for best drama and was nominated for an International Emmy Award. His short The Goat screened at the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. His first feature, The Wound, will premiere in competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
