Born in 1963, graduated from the facultyof film directing of the Kyiv State Karpenko-Kary Institute in 1985. His short features and documentary films have participated and received awards at international film festivals: Painting participated at the International Film Festival of Films on Art (Montreal, 2003) and ARTECINEMA (Naples, 2003); Faded cherry in my garden, you will again pass by me was winner of the International Film Festival in Potsdam (1995); among other festivals - "Molodist '94", KINOFORUM (Yalta, 1994) and MEDIAWAVE-96 (Győr, Hungary). In 2012, he created his full-length film Bogdan Havrylyshyn. Mission: freedom.
