Alain Margot

Alain Margot born in Switzerland in 1959, studied at the Lausanne Fine Arts School before making a number of films in Super 8 format. In 1988, he became the grand Prize winner of the Grand Raid Le Cap Terre de Feu show, a French-language broadcast, which is a race around the world for young filmmakers and journalists. In 1989, he founded Mellina Films, his own production company, with the screenwriter and author Emanuelle delle Piane. He then regularly worked with French-speaking Radio Television Switzerland. Director of fiction, documentaries, music videos, dance and performance art films, his unique way of sculpting images defines him as a filmmaker and an artist who loves to explore and experiment with genres.
