Samuel Collardey

Biography

Samuel Collardey worked four years in television before starting the prestigious film school La Fémis in Paris in the department of Cinematography. During his studies he worked as a director of photography on several short films. His last film from school Un soleil en hiver received several awards, including the SACD at the Director's Fortnight in Cannes and the Special Jury award in Clermont-Ferrand. His first feature film The Apprentice, a docu-fiction released in 2008 which won the Critic's Prize in Venice and the Louis Delluc Award for the best first feature film. His second feature was released in 2013: Comme un lion and his third, Land Legs was produced in 2014/2015.
