Roberto Sosa

Roberto Sosa Martínez is one of the most experienced and recognized Mexican actors of his generation. He studied at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art, at the Centre national des arts du cirque in Paris, France, and Stanford University in California. As an actor and director, he has worked in television, theater, and film, collaborating in more than 90 national and international feature films. He has received several awards for his work; in cinema, he has received twice the Ariel as best actor; the National Youth Award; the Silver Hugo at the International Festival of Chicago, and the silver shell at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain. He also received two tributes for his film career in Toulouse and Paris in France. In theater, he has been awarded five times as best actor for De la Calle, Equus and the monologue Cáncer de Olvido.
