Biography
Aly Muritiba is a film writer, producer and director. He has directed seven shorts, a TV movie and two features. His short film A fabrica (The Factory, 2011) landed a mention of honour at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival and was a finalist for the 2011 Academy Awards. Patio (Quadrangle, 2013) garnered an award at the It's All True International Documentary Festival and was selected for the Critics' Week at Cannes. Para Minha Amada Morta / To My Beloved won the Silver Zenith Award for the First Fiction Feature Film at the Montreal Film Festival.
