He is a filmmaker and songwriter living in Montreal’s Mile End neighbourhood. After graduating from Concordia University in 2003 in Communication Studies, he worked as a script editor and later a writer in the Quebec television industry. In 2007, he directed a short documentary on singer/painter David Macleod, a National Film Board production. His short film screenplay Three Mothers won the Grand Prix at “Cours Écrire ton Court”, a writing competition hosted by the Festival du nouveau cinema in Montreal. The film premiered at the Atlantic Film festival in Halifax.
