Biography
ANA VAZ is a Brazilian artist and filmmaker. She is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Le Fresnoy Studio National. Her films have been showed at a number of international film festivals including the New York Film Festival, Visions du Réel, Ann Arbor, and Images, and she has had solo and group shows at FRAC/Le Plateau (Paris), Museum of the Republic (Brasília), Salon Jeune Création (Paris),Temporary Gallery (Cologne), among others. Recently, her films have been shown retrospectively at the Melbourne Cinémathèque (Australia) & Void Gallery (Ireland).
