Biography

Elijah hails from the windy city of Chicago, Illinois, but has called New York home for over five years. After a decorated career as an Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he literally travelled the globe, he set his sails for New York where he followed his true love and passion by becoming an actor. Moreland is a 2009 graduate of New York's illustrious William Esper Studio. In 2008 he made his big screen debut opposite Shia LaBeouf in "Eagle Eye". His career continues to heat up with appearances on NBC's "Deception", USA's "Royal Pains", ABC's "One Life to Live". Moreland has two new movies set to release in 2014: "1:30 Train" opposite Captain America's Chris Evans, who also is making his Directorial debut. Currently Moreland is starring in his 'Dream Role' as an army infantry soldier in the indie feature "Cigarette Soup", Directed by Damian Voerg. Elijah has been a nationally ranked boxer in the NCBA, and the USA Junior Olympic Boxing Association. He also enjoys scuba diving and traveling the globe to learn about different cultures while also looking for new adventures.
