David Melville is the producer and star of the Travel Channel series, Lawrence of America. Other Film and TV includes: All My Children; As The World Turns; Passions; Tyrannosaurus Wrecks, Saurian; Dr. Jeckyll & Mr Hyde. David comes from England (Where he trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London) but currently lives in Los Angeles where he is Managing Director of The Independent Shakespeare Company, which produces the free Shakespeare in Barnsdall Park every summer, now in its fifth year. Performances for ISC include: the title roles in Richard II; Hamlet; Macbeth and Henry V. As well as roles in: As You Like It; The Two Gentlemen of Verona; Richard III and A Christmas Carol with Charles Dickens. David also appeared with Ralph Fiennes in Hamlet (Almeida, London and Broadway) and Ivanov (Almeida, London and Maly Theatre, Moscow) and with Glenda Jackson in Mother Courage at the Mermaid Theatre, London.
