Roxana Stroe

Roxana Stroe (b. 1991, Romania) studied direction at the National University of Theater and Film "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest. She is the creator of acclaimed short films: Perennial Plants (Plante perene, 2013) received the Critics' Award at the CineMAiubit International Student FF and Black Friday (2015) won Best Romanian Short at the Transilvania IFF. Her latest short film A Night in Tokoriki picked up the Generation 14plus Special Prize at the 2016 Berlinale.
