Biography
Director, actor, producer and cultural icon, Fernando Poe Jr. is also known as the King of Filipino Cinema (“Da King”). Without having finished his formal education, Poe ventured into film production and ended up being one of the most recognizable Philippino faces. In the last part of his life he tried to be president of his country without achieving it.
