Sébastien Vaniček grew up in the Parisian suburbs. He has always liked to draw, especially comics. At the age of 15, he stole his father's camcorder and started filming insects. He then discovered editing, the importance of sound and developed his love for visual arts. He made most of his short films with his enthusiastic group of friends. Today, Sébastien Vaniček is a multi-international-awards short films winner. Vermin, his first feature, is a genre film with an important social point of view - a "natural horror" where spiders serve as allegory.
