Biography
Jonathan Cuartas is a writer director from Miami. Jonathan directed his first short film The Pallor, Fall 2013. Jonathan collaborated with his brother Michael, cinematographer and co-producer, to make the horror short possible. They teamed up once again in 2014 for Jonathan's sophomoric short film Twelve Traditions, a crime thriller about a dismantled alcoholic on the run. A year after Twelve Traditions, Jonathan jumped back into horror, in 2016 directing the character-driven horror drama Kuru, starring seasoned actor Mark Ashworth (The Magnificent Seven, Grape Soda). Jonathan is developing a feature length adaptation of Kuru, slated to shoot late 2017.
