Biography
Svetoslav Ovcharov was born in Bulgaria in 1957. He authored three books as well as, several theatre and TV plays. He has written and the directed 26 documentaries and six feature films. Most of them participated in various prestigious film festivals, among them is the feature film Voice Over which won best director award and FIPRESCI Award at the 2010 Cairo International Film Festival. He also wrote Svetla Tsotsorkova’s debut film Thirst (2015) which won various awards and was presented at over 60 festivals around the world.
