Jesper W. Nielsen

Director and scriptwriter Jesper W.Nielsen is well known for writing and directing outstanding children films. THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY won the award for Best Youth and Children Film at the Amanda Award Ceremony in Norway in 2009, and is now attending film festivals worldwide. His next project is the 24-episode TV series PAGTEN for Denmarks Radio. Jesper W.Nielsen also directed among other films the Danish features THE BOUNCER (2003), BIG PLANS (2005) and the box office success OKAY (2002) starring Paprika Steen who won Best Actress at the Danish Bodil Awards.
