Biography
Peruvian filmmaker and screenwriter, Joel holds a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing, from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He has won the prestigious Carolina Foundation Ibero-American script development fellowship in three ocasions. His debut film, Cielo Oscuro (2012) won the Best Peruvian Feature by a New Director Award at the 16th Lima Film Festival.
