Belén Funes

Her first short film, Sara a la fuga, co-written with Marçal Cebrian, won two Biznagas at the 18th Malaga Film Festival, for Best director and Best short film, and was one of the short candidates for the Goya Awards in its 30th edition. Her second short film, La inutil, had its world premiere at the Seminci, Valladolid International Film Week. The Thief’s Daughter is her debut film.
