Biography
Albino Álvarez Gómez studied at the CUEC-UNAM film school from 1976 to 1981. He took additional classes in cinematography at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. He was the founder and general coordinator of the Experimental Workshop in Audiovisual Media (TEMA) at TV UNAM. He was the assistant director of production at TV UNAM during the periods 1991-1992 and 1996-2004.
