Biography
He studied Cinema at the CUEC where he produced the short films Casa de la cultura (1975), Semana Santa in Santa Ana (1979) and the short films José (1976) and Tres historias de amor (1978). In 1984 he films his first feature film Redondo that receives the Ariel to Best Opera Prima in 1985. This film represents Mexico in the VI International Forum of the National Cinematheque.
