Fernando Vera

Biography

A filmmaker from Saragossa, he started in audiovisual industry in 1999 with the short film Zero, for which he was nominated to the best direction in Scife 99. Next year he shot his second short film, Volver, selected in over twenty festivals all over Spain. In 2001 he undertook his most ambitious project, Dr.Tabernier, a medium-length film set at Panticosa Spa in 1908, which was awarded several prizes. A student of Bigas Luna Film Workshop. He has directed several institutional documentary films. Sabáh is his fourth short film.
