Biography

Spanish screenwriter, film director and University teacher and lecturer. She has written screenplays for films such as Te doy mis ojos (Take My Eyes) (2003). She received the Goya award for Best Original Screenplay and the Best European Screenplay Award. She has written and directed documentaries such as El Proxeneta. Paso corto. Mala leche (The pimp. Small step, bad mood) (2018). She co-directs the UAM Film Screenwriting, TV Series and Dramaturgy Master’s degree. She is the Director of the Escuela de Guión in Madrid. She was the President of the International Jury at the Nantes Spanish Film Festival and jury at the SEMINCI. She is a screenplay consultant and writer of books on screenwriting such as Matad al guionista (Kill the sceenwriter) (2000).
