Biography
Kang Yikwan (1971) is a screenwriter and director from South Korea. He graduated in sociology from Korea University, then from the Korean Academy of Film Arts. He started out as an assistant director and also shot short films. He made his debut with the award-winning feature film Sorry Apple (Sa-kwa, 2005). From his filmography we'll mention, e.g., If You Were Me 5 (Si-seon neo-meo, 2010), and Juvenile Offender (Beom-joe-so-nyeon, 2012).
