Biography

Director Park Ji-wan received great recognition and won the Best Asian Short Film Award at the 10th Seoul International Women's Film Festival for High School Girls, a short film that captures the everyday lives of teenage girls in great detail. About her feature film debutĀ The Day I Died: Unclosed Case, the director said: "I wanted to capture how the characters, who fight against difficulties and despair, try to do things and fight to survive. I hope that the public can sympathize with the message that we can influence the lives of strangers and mark the difference in their lives". Park creates a distinctive story with identifiable characters to highlight the person behind the case.
