Biography
Martin Jelínek was born in Czechoslovakia in 1988. He graduated at FAMU, Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in Department of Directing in 2010. Now he is finishing his Master's degree at FAMU in the same department. He studied under Věra Chytilová, Jan Němec or Petr Marek. He is co-scriptwriter of Dust of the Ground (dir. Vít Zapletal, 2015) and Journey to Rome (dir. Tomasz Mielnik, 2015) – both in competition at KVIFF 2015.
