Biography

Laura Zamora is a screenwriter, producer and director. Her career in cinema began as a spectator and cinephile, although animation was already in those illustrated stories that she wrote and drew since she was a child. After studying Advertising Graphics, she took another step as an animator at the PrimerFrame 3D animation school in Valencia. Since then he has worked on the visual effects of different advertisements between Spain and Greece, as well as on productions such as Órbitas by Jaime Maestro, the Swedish Circkeln by Levan Akin, for which the Ixor VFX studio was nominated for the Guldbagge of the Institute of Swedish Cinema, also working in the video game sector, in the graphic adventure "Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo" or in "Tintin, the Pharaoh's Cigars", produced by Pendulo Studios. With her first animated short film The Tree of Lost Souls, she was nominated for the 2020 Goya Awards, achieving more than 75 international selections, including selections in Oscar qualifying festivals, such as the American Documentary and Animated Film Festival. and L.A.Shorts.
