Biography
Hugo Pérez co-directed award-winning feature documentary: Once Upon a Time in Uganda. He directed and produced the feature documentaries, Neither Memory Nor Magic and Summer Sun Winter Moon, and was executive producer of Rodrigo Reyes’ Purgatorio. He is the winner of the NALIP Estela Award for Documentary Filmmaking and the HBO Short Film Award.
