Biography

Marie Amachoukeli is a French director and screenwriter with Georgian roots who trained at the La Fémis film school in Paris. Her feature debut Party Girl, which she co-directed with Claire Burger and Samuel Theis, opened the Un Certain Regard section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and promptly scooped the the Caméra d'Or. Her second feature Àma Gloria opened the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes 2023.
