Biography
Raj Rishi More’s film career began as an assistant director to Ritesh Batra on his feature debut The Lunchbox (BAFTA nominated, winner Rail d’or at Cannes 2013). After this Raj worked as an associate director on feature film Khoya (MAMI 2015). He also worked as a First Assistant director to Ritesh Batra on his short Masterchef commissioned by ‘Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’ that premiered in Sundance Film Festival 2014. Raj’s first feature film script, Pirate, was part of Drishyam Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab and Ritesh Batra is producing it under his production ‘Poetic License Motion Pictures’. His short film Patliputra Express premiered at New York Indian Film Festival 2017.
