Biography
Carlo Lavagna was born in Arona in 1948. After some documentaries on the world of drugs and on the militant collectives of the '70s, in 1983 he made Amore Tossico, a film which would become a cult for a number of generations, a crude story of heroin addiction using non-professionals actors. In May 2015, seventeen years after L'Odore della Notte, he completed the editing of what will be his final film Non Essere Cattivo.
