Biography

He studied literature in his native country. At the beginning of the 1980s, he moved to Germany and a decade later began directing films. Together with Harun Farocki he made Videograms of a Revolution, a feature that the magazine Cahiers du cinéma lists as one of the ten most subversive films of all time.
