Biography
Gabe Polsky (1979, Chicago, USA) descends from Ukrainian immigrants. He has produced films such as The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans (2009) by Werner Herzog or Little Birds (2011), an acclaimed indie drama by Elgin James. Currently he is preparing screen adaptations of novels Butcher's Crossing by John Williams or Going after Cacciato by Tim O'Brien, which won the National Book Award for Fiction. The New York Times called his directorial debut, Red Army, one of the most pleasant surprises at this year's fi lm festival in Cannes.
