Art Malik

Born Athar-Ul-Haque Malik at 4.00a.m. on 13th November 1952, in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. At ten he lived in Quetta, near the Afghanistan border. A year later, culturally re-invigorated, he was back in Balham attending the local Grammar School. It was at Bec Grammar, that Art had his first theatrical experience, playing the title role in, "The Pen of my Aunt", in the House Drama Competition.
