Biography
Rainer Sarnet is a film and stage director, film critic, and creator of photo comics for newspapers. He has made several shorts and in 2007 debuted in features with Where Souls Go (Kuhu põgenevad hinged).
The Idiot (Idoot, 2011) came four years later, inspired by the Dostoyevsky novel. The film had its world premiere at the Busan IFF and subsequently toured the festival circuit (Best Cinematography at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival). November is his third feature film, based on the novel by Andrus Kivirähk Rehepapp.
