Cloé Coutel

Cloé Coutel completed a DMA in animation at the ESAAT (Roubaix) and received the highest distinction for her graduate film Blanc Blanc. She is now working towards a DMA3 in animation, alternating between studying and gaining practical experience at the Films du Nord. It is in this context that she has directed Ephemeras (2019), a short film that presents a portrait of her grandfather against a background of wallpaper. She is making her debut as a scenographer with Films du Nord, co-directing a new film entitled Vague à l’âme with Angel Binard. She particularly enjoys experimenting with new animation techniques.
