Biography
He is a prolific Cuban director, writer and documentary filmmaker. Since 1990 he has directed several fiction and documentary features, short films, and has written many books. His features had standout throughout the world, such as Pon tu pensamiento en mi, Amor Vertical, Habana abierta and La noche de los inocentes, among others.
