Santiago Zannou

Biography

Santiago A. Zannou was born in Madrid in 1977. He studied filmmaking at Centre d'Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya (CECC). His first short film, Cara sucia, was nominated to a Goya to the best short film in 2004. He won 3 Goya with his first long feature, El truco del manco (2008), including best new director. He has not only directed films but also advertising. He is right now preparing his third long feature. He takes part in the official short film section in the 54FICX with Vernon Walks (2016).
