Biography
Dawn Porter is a filmmaker, attorney, and founder of Trilogy Films. Her directorial debut, Gideon's Army, premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, was broadcasted on HBO, and received Independent Spirit and Emmy Award nominations. Porter's other films have appeared on Independent Lens and the Discovery Channel. She is a Keppler speaker and provided a keynote address at the 2014 International Documentary Association conference. She has appeared on The Daily Show and MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry.
