Biography

Rune Schjøtt, born 1971, Denmark, graduated in Scriptwriting from the National Film School of Denmark. He has worked as a music producer, a radio host and as writer/director of radio plays for the Danish National Broadcasting Corporation, DR. Schjøtt co — wrote the prizewinning Dark Horse (2005) with Icelandic director Dagur Kári and he wrote Young Man Falling (2007), which was selected for the International Critic's Week at Cannes Film Festival. Schjøtt's directial debut was the prizewinning short film The Panda Syndrome (2006). Skyskraber (2010) is Schjøtt's first feature film.
