John DeFazio has served as director of photography on numerous, award-winning 35mm and High Definition films including ROAM (2001) and CROSSING (2002) which screened at the Sundance Film Festival and 9:30 (2003), a 35mm film that screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2004. John graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's design and art programs where he focused in interactive design, photography, and robotic sculpture. John also holds an M.F.A. in film production from the University of Southern California where he studied cinematography. At USC, John earned several cinematography scholarships and received Kodak's Achievement in Cinematography, amongst other industry recognition. John was developing a feature film, as cowriter and co-director, with an independent production company. John plans to continue shooting feature films in the future.
