After returning from World War II to find a Dear John letter from his girlfriend, a veteran murders the girl and her boyfriend at their graduation dance. Due to this tragedy, the tradition of the dances is cancelled for the next thirty-five years. When the next dance is held, the killer shows up in his battle uniform with several weapons, ready to kill again. (official distributor synopsis)
