English The genetic proximity of octopuses and humans, the healthy longevity of shrews, the relative immortality of marsupials; these facts, which I was already somewhat aware before watching this documentary, are brought together and covered by one main theme: ageing. Who wouldn't want to live a long life free of worry and disease? Compared to the evolutionarily primitive stingrays or the inexplicably resilient shrews, humans standing on an imaginary pedestal of evolution are also incredibly vulnerable and prone to disease in old age – definitely a fact to ponder and research further.
