English The home invasion sub-genre is becoming as stale as exorcism and See for Me thankfully brings something new, but is it enough? For a better average, yes. A blind girl cat-sitting in an abandoned mansion is attacked by three thieves who plan to steal a hidden safe. The protagonist's only help Kelly, a veteran who helps her through a new app called See for Me. The film has a pretty fast pace, nice visuals, a few minor twists and turns, and quite a bit of suspense, which are all pluses. The minuses are a pretty unlikeable main character, the lack of gore, and the fact that it keeps things a little too low key. The film tries to be slightly inventive, but there's still something missing that would at least kick it up to better than average. But probably it won't offend significantly anyone who likes home invasions, See for Me is one of the more interesting ones in a while.
