English Clara Sola is a quiet, fragile film about an introverted, spiritual girl with a physical disability going through the difficult period of discovering her own sexuality, which she cannot share with the one she desires. And the only one who knows and understands her is the viewer. The connection between man and nature is very aptly set in the unique Costa Rica. Poetics, symbolism. And an excellent acting performance by Wendy Araya. ()
