English A fine family affair, where the only thing that makes sense is Danny Elfman's incredibly melodic beauty and Alex Thomson's skillful cinematography. Otherwise, this is a bit too prosaic and very simple animal serenade for younger audiences. The older ones will love it too, but if we put nostalgia aside, despite all the nice shots and a couple of touching scenes, there still is something more tangible missing. The Horse Whisperer is told from the opposite perspective and is a level above. ()

English A little naive but nonetheless charming story about a friendship between an animal and a human that can grab you by the heart. The film is dominated by a beautiful retelling of the story from a purely equine point of view and a truly wonderful soundtrack by Danny Elfman, which perhaps could not have been better in the context of the premise. In addition, we also see David Thewlis, aka my favourite Remus Lupin from Harry Potter, and his humble speech is guaranteed to make every film more enjoyable. Finally, a film that managed to not only perfectly portray the extraordinary charm and personality of a horse, but also successfully transfer it to the viewer. 4* and a bit. :) ()
