The audience begins to unravel not only his secrets, but also the story of a man whom today the whole world equates with scientists such as Darwin and Einstein. Over 8 episodes, the series gives children a glimpse into other fascinating areas and the disciplines in which Mendel excelled - not just attempts at plant crossing, but also meteorology, beekeeping, and even astronomy.
