Life and Film: The Labyrinthine Biographies of Vojtěch Jasný

A very personal film, shot as a tribute/acknowledgement of his teacher and life's mentor by Spanish director Arkaitz Basterra, a New York student of Jasný's. The protagonist tells the story of his life and filmmaking career, starting in his childhood, going through the Nazi occupation, Communism, the moments of fame, but also the hard times in exile.
