What has blinking in common with film montage? This question is examined by an experimental film for which a momentary closing of eyelids is not as banal as it may seem at first glance. In this film, the camera's view is likened to the gaze of a baseball player. A film shot, same as the playing field and the field of human vision is limited at the sides. It is also formed by cuts, breaking the image into blinking fragments of the perception of the surrounding world. What the eyes cannot see, the brain substitutes. What effect can a blink of an eye have on our knowledge of reality? (Academia Film Olomouc)
