Medieval epic full of swashbuckling heroics and romance. Myles (Tony Curtis) is a headstrong young peasant who sets out to find out the identity of his father. He travels to the majestic MacWorth Castle, where he aims to win a knighthood as well as the hand of Lady Anne (played by Janet Leigh, Curtis's real-life bride). However, she has already been claimed by the evil Sir Walter Blunt (Patrick O'Neal). Meanwhile, the English throne is being threatened by sinister forces from within.
